10-year Anniversary of "Information and Space" Magazine
Dear friends!
Next year our magazine will hold its 10-year anniversary! It is a significant period for any periodicals, moreover – for an academic periodical. All those years our magazine highlighted fundamental and modern directions of science and technique, it described high technologies in the area of communications, space and geographic informatics. The significance of information has been revised within recent decades. Various aspects of information security are playing a significant role nowadays. So, our publication couldn't stay aside from discussing these problems. In addition, we have always tried to make our magazine applicable and interesting in the context of implementation and engineering new conceptions and discoveries precisely in industry for the benefit of economy and human being.
During the previous decade we have formed a group of permanent continual authors knowing each other very well, at the same time, we are always glad to receive articles from our postgraduates and young specialists. This magazine is well known and read not only in Russia but in CIS countries, such as Eastland, Byelorussia, Ukraine. In the nearest future we are planning to spread our international relations. In the present century of globalization our magazine is not afraid of setting global goals in popularization of Russian science. We thank all our readers and authors and send our congratulations from the bottom of our heart! We hope, that we will be working together fruitfully for many decades.

OUR SLOGAN
The "Information and Space" Magazine is a scientific and technical interdisciplinary polythematic publication, publishing articles in the area of "geographic informatics", "communications", "space", "safety", "economy", "radio electronics", "nanotechnologies", "philosophy". This magazine has been published since 2000.
Since 2007 our magazine has been included in the List of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, including leading reviewed and scientific magazines and publications, where scientific results of dissertations for seeking academic title of Doctor or Candidate of Science must be published (D.D. &Ph.D.).
Magazine circulation is 1,500 copies.
Periodicity – once per quarter, 4 numbers per year.
Geography of circulation – Russia and CIS countries (Byelorussia, Ukraine, Eastland).
Our magazine subscribers are individuals and legal entities, leading scientific and military institutions of our country, libraries and the Ministry of Defense agencies. Our magazine is a constant participant of specialized exhibitions (Geosibir, Svyaz-Expocom, etc.).

Prokhorov, St. Petersburg Institute of Informatics and Automatization of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Military Academy of Communication, Baltic State Technical University named after D.F.
